Romans 8 makes a lot of great promises to all who are in Christ. But there is a tension in Paul's Gospel--why hasn't Israel come to believe in Jesus as Messiah? Does this mean that the word of God has failed? How do we know we can trust in the promises of God? We find comfort in this section of Romans that God's word never fails, and He is working all things together for His glory. For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things.
